At Folan Guitars the focus is on limited production and the personalization of unique instuments. I work one-on-one with each client to ensure that they receive an instrument that is uniquely suited to his/her playing style and design preferences.
From lumber processing to the final finish, all of the work is done in-house, by my hands. I am not, however, the only one involved in the build process. My clients are actively involved in the guitar building processs. Wood choices, sound characteristics, inlays, and other aestetic touches, are all discussed with clients during the building process. Clients receive updates and pictures to see the progress of the build as it unfolds. Visits to the shop are welcome and allow for a first hand experience that is not possible when purchasing "off the wall" guitars.
